Memphis Magic Athletics was formed in 2014 to empower athletes of all ages for positive community impact through education and social development. Previously, our efforts have reached more than 2,900 individuals, educating them in financial literacy. Collaborating with Microsoft, we facilitated the distribution of over $70,000 in college scholarships for both faculty and students. Through the United Athletes Foundation College Hackathon Bowl Series, we proudly awarded $280,000 in academic scholarships. In nine cities, we delivered life skills training to 900 youths. Our small business building program has benefited over 450 individuals, while our workforce development initiatives have supported more than 650 people. In this past year, our organization hosts free non-contact football camps for boys and girls across the United States, as well as in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Our goals and objectives are centered on revitalizing disenfranchised communities and empowering individuals through a combination of sports, education, and economic development. We focus on partnering with community members to develop and implement strategic plans that include life-skills programs, apprenticeships, and financial literacy initiatives. We are committed to supporting economic development through mixed-use, mixed-income redevelopment and fostering sustainable growth. By providing athletes with the tools and networks needed to "bootstrap" their communities, we aim to promote internal capacity building and economic progress. Our programs are designed to enhance athletic skills while also equipping youth with critical life skills, including social justice and financial literacy. We strive to operate with integrity, excellence, and loyalty, ensuring that our collaborations with all stakeholders effectively support these objectives.
